Reel Heroes is a non-profit organization created to give our returning Wounded Warriors a day of fishing.

Founded in August 2011, Reel Heroes was inspired by a true story of one of our heroes who returned from the war, spent months in the hospital, endured thirty surgeries, but never, never lost his faith.

His wish upon returning home was simple - he wanted more than anything to

just go fishing ...

After sharing his story with us, we decided that we would make it our mission to find a way to take him fishing and to offer a peaceful day on the water to other heroes as well.

We are looking for volunteer fishermen across the United States willing to take a Wounded Warrior and a companion on a fishing trip. Whether you fish on a lake, in a stream or out on the ocean, please help us give back to someone who has sacrificed so much for our country.

We know that there are a lot of organizations across the U.S. that plan and organize fishing trips and tournaments for Wounded Warriors but there is not a specific group that brings them all together into one network. We are providing that network so that we can all work together and make fishing accessible for all.
